SinkTheVandenberg.com was created by Valeo Films Inc. in cooperation with Artificial Reefs of the Keys as the official site for live and on demand video about the sinking of the USNS Hoyt S. Vandenberg.    On May 27 at 10:21 AM charges detonated to send the USNS Vandenberg to her final home. She settled gracefully to the bottom in 1 minute 44 seconds - Valeo Films was there to capture it all (above and below the water) in broadcast quality high definition video. 

In doing so, Valeo Films Inc. executed an internet first -- a live WiFi broadcast of the sinking at sea!

Over the next 12 months, we will also be conducting a series of follow up dives to the Vandenberg in order to post new information about the artificial reef and to explore it as a dive site, so please check back periodically.
